5. Account Deletion and Data Retention

How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your MoBoo account at any time by following these steps:

  1. 1Log into your Parent Account.
  2. Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.
  3. Answer the confirmation question.
  4. Tap “Delete” at the bottom to confirm.

Once confirmed, your personal data is permanently erased and cannot be restored.

What Happens After Deletion
When you delete your account:

  • All personal information (name, email, account ID, child profiles, and device links) is permanently removed.
  • We anonymize your remaining data so that it can no longer identify you or your family.
  • The anonymized data may be retained and used only for aggregated statistics, analytics, and improving app performance.
  • This de-identified information has no personal identifiers and cannot be connected back to you.

This approach follows privacy best practices under GDPR, COPPA, and CCPA/CPRA.


6. Security and Storage
We follow industry-standard encryption and data protection measures to safeguard information during transmission and storage. While no system is completely secure, we continuously review and update our safeguards.

We retain information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. When retention is no longer needed, data is securely deleted or de-identified.
